NHK come and speak to CompeteFor

Japanese TV Broadcaster NHK visited BiP Solutions on 12 October, filming for its Business Frontline segment. NHK got shots of BiP workspace, before speaking to the CompeteFor team.

The short broadcast is due to air in coming weeks and will illustrate the role CompeteFor in the delivery of the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympics Games, which will inspire the Tokyo 2020 Games.

Tokyo 2020 organisers have shown an interest in the CompeteFor engagement programme, which demonstrates the global reputation of BiP’s procurement solutions, especially for social engagement projects such as the Olympics.

The work BiP undertook for the London 2012 Games was a first of its kind and is now seen as the international best practice model for opening up supply chains and engaging local and SME businesses in the in large national and multinational procurement programmes.

Since London 2012, BiP Solutions’ supply chain services have been adopted by a range of multi-billion-pound projects including Crossrail and Thames Tideway Tunnel.

This London 2012 living legacy – CompeteFor – continues to grow and flourish with hundreds of new businesses registering each month.
