ECI for £800m M4 Newport scheme

The Welsh Government is seeking to appoint a contractor to design and construct a new 23km 3 lane motorway between Magor and Castleton running south of the city of Newport.

The project is estimated to cost £700m £800m and last 42 months (from award).

On behalf of the Welsh Ministers, the government will be conducting the PQQ element of this procurement exercise through the etenderwales portal etenderwales.bravosolution.co.uk .

The authority is using eTenderwales to carry out this procurement process.

Arup is on board as the Welsh government’s consulting engineer.
