It is anticipated that the expansion of the Offshore Renewable Energy sector will create many new jobs within the South East of England. SOREC administers and delivers ERDF funded grants to assist companies who are already in the sector or who want to expand into this sector.The grants are aimed at small to medium enterprises (SMEs) to support job creation in the South East of England. The grants can support up to 50% of costs of a project, up to a maximum individual grant limit of £50,000.
