EKFB is a joint venture that brings together international, market leading expertise from four leading civil engineering and construction companies: Eiffage, Kier, Ferrovial Construction and BAM Nuttall.
All four partners bring specialist expertise in the design, construction, operation, financing and maintenance of railway networks, including some of Europe’s latest high speed rail projects.
EKFB was appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across a 50-mile section of the new high speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood. Our scope of work includes 15 viaducts, 7km of green tunnels, 22km of road diversions, 81 bridges and 30 million cubic metres of excavation.
Our 50-mile section of works is known as ‘C23’. Along with our complex supply chain, design partners and our client HS2, we work as a fully integrated project team to help deliver one of Europe’s largest construction ventures. Together, we are the C23 One Team.
