{"id":940,"date":"2025-04-07T10:32:09","date_gmt":"2025-04-07T10:32:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.competefor.com\/sellafield\/?p=940"},"modified":"2025-04-07T10:32:09","modified_gmt":"2025-04-07T10:32:09","slug":"safety-team-at-sellafield-sheq-conference","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.competefor.com\/sellafield\/2025\/04\/07\/safety-team-at-sellafield-sheq-conference\/","title":{"rendered":"Showcasing safety at Sellafield SHEQ conference"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"spacingBelow\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-941\" src=\"http:\/\/www.competefor.com\/sellafield\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/36\/2025\/04\/SHEQ-Conference-for-CF.jpg\" alt=\"Sellafield SHEQ Conference\" width=\"2541\" height=\"1515\" \/>Our safety team were busy at the Sellafield SHEQ Conference, showcasing the Health, Safety and Wellbeing Hub and the positive changes it has brought in.<\/p>\n<p class=\"spacingBelow\">Colleagues who came to the conference were able to see our journey to Knowingly Safe come to life, shown on \u2018The Fells\u2019 display.<\/p>\n<p class=\"spacingBelow\">They could also see a demonstration of how innovative 4D Building Information Modelling (BIM) technology is aiding our major projects.<\/p>\n<p class=\"spacingBelow\">We got some fantastic feedback on our <a href=\"https:\/\/www.competefor.com\/sellafield\/2024\/07\/03\/life-saving-principles-launch-june-2024\/\">Life Saving Principles<\/a> and Mental Fitness Principles, which link back to our Golden Rules.<\/p>\n<p class=\"spacingBelow\">And we also had two of our Mobile Elevated Work Platforms (MEWPs) on display, thanks to Nationwide Platforms and Sunbelt Rentals.<\/p>\n<p class=\"spacingBelow\">A big thank you goes out to everyone who helped pull the day together and who came and supported us.<\/p>\n<p class=\"spacingBelow\">Jack Tomlinson, PPP EHS improvement manager, said:\u00a0\u201cWithin PDD we are always looking for opportunities to share some of the best practices that we are driving through the\u00a0Health, Safety and Wellbeing Hub.<\/p>\n<p class=\"spacingBelow\">\u201cBut, more importantly, during this conference we were able to learn from the broader Sellafield enterprise and its different operating units.<\/p>\n<p class=\"spacingBelow\">\u201cThe session felt particularly engaging and it was great to see representation from all our major project EHS teams who came together to support the Knowingly Safe message.<\/p>\n<p class=\"spacingBelow\">\u201cThe HSW hub is a true symbol of collaboration and best practice and it\u2019s great to be able to show the benefits of using supply chain expertise to fix our health and safety challenges on Sellafield.\u201d<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Our safety team were busy at the Sellafield SHEQ Conference, showcasing the Health, Safety and Wellbeing Hub and the positive changes it has brought in.
