Running the Railway<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

The work we do in running and improving Britain\u2019s railway is incredibly diverse, challenging and\u00a0ambitious.<\/p>\n

We keep Britain moving and maintaining and operating our rail network 24\/7 is an important part of what we do. We\u2019re making sure your railway can get you where you need to go safely and reliably, whilst planning ahead and doing everything we can to improve journeys for the future.<\/p>\n

North West & Central Region<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

The NW&C Regions \u00a0infrastructure<\/a> runs from London Euston and Marylebone in the south through the Chiltern and West Midlands regions, the North West of England and Cumbria before joining with Scotland at Gretna. We are home to the West Coast Mainline, the busiest mixed-use railway in Europe, serving London, Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Edinburgh and Glasgow.<\/p>\n
