Step 1 \u2013 register for access to BRAVONR<\/strong><\/p>\n

Register on BravoNR<\/a>. This is our procurement portal and any organisation wishing to supply goods, works or services to Network Rail must be registered on BravoNR.<\/p>\n

Step 2 \u2013 register for relevant RISQS categories<\/strong><\/p>\n

If you supply goods, works or services under\u00a0Railway Industry Commodity Classification List\u00a0(RICCL)\u00a0codes\u00a0directly\u00a0to Network Rail, or wish to do so, please note that Network Rail uses the\u00a0Railway safety and\u00a0Standards\u00a0Board (RSSB) Rail Industry Supplier Qualification Scheme (RISQS)\u00a0as a \u2018Qualification System\u2019 under the Utilities Contract Regulations (2016) where Network Rail may choose to select participants directly from the \u2018Qualification System\u2019 without placing a further\u00a0\u2018Find a Tender\u2019\u00a0service call for competition.<\/p>\n

For suppliers of safety critical goods, works or services (i.e. RICCL codes) who wish to contract directly with Network Rail,\u202fregister on RISQS<\/a>\u202fand become a supplier with audited status.\u00a0RISQS\u00a0is both a Qualification System under the Utilities Contract Regulations and an assurance system run by the Railway Safety and Standards Board.<\/p>\n

Network Rail has chosen to use RISQS as its assurance system for suppliers with whom Network Rail contracts\u00a0directly. We do not mandate RISQS on our Tier 1 suppliers and it is up to them how they assure their own sub-contractors and sub-suppliers.<\/p>\n

If you supply goods, works and services under RICCL categories to buyers other than Network Rail, we advise you to check with the relevant buying\u00a0organisations\u00a0to find out which supplier assurance system(s) they use, if at all.<\/p>\n

Step 3 \u2013 Access Pipeline information via BRAVONR<\/strong><\/p>\n

Procurement\u00a0opportunities are listed on BravoNR<\/a>\u00a0and can also be viewed on the\u00a0Network Rail procurement pipeline<\/a>. Under each opportunity the buyer contact details are listed. You will also find additional documents providing more information on the procurement.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Step 4 \u2013 register for free access to NR standards<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ensure you are up to speed with any relevant Network Rail Standards that are relevant to the procurement. All our standards can be accessed on the\u00a0Network Rail standards portal<\/a>. You will need to register on the portal first and then add the relevant standards to your order. A 100% discount will be applied during the checkout process.<\/p>\n
