To help the supply chain understand and profile likely resource demands within the Region , we have agreed to provide an overview of anticipated future blockades and possessions for the region. This information is contained within the Delivering Work Within Possessions (DWWP) document and includes details of forthcoming worksites with project title, locations & dates, which may then result in future procurement activity. This document is updated periodically and can be accessed here using this link: DWWP NW&C.
Should you have difficulty accessing this document, please send an email to NWCsupplychainenquiries@networkrail.co.uk requesting access.
Whist the Competefor Microsite is dedicated to procurement opportunities in North West and Central, should you wish to obtain an overview of all upcoming tenders and awards across Network Rail as a whole there is a national procurement pipe-line available externally which is updated every 4 weeks and is accessed using this link.
Where NW&C are procuring works directly as a client, these will (unless advised otherwise) be tendered through BravoNR which is our end-to-end procurement system
Our Network Rail standards can now be accessed free of charge on the new standards portal. Suppliers wishing to access these standards will need to register and then add the relevant standards to your order. A 100% discount will then be applied during the checkout process.
The PC Licence is governed by NR Standard NR/L2/INI/CP0070 v5 and applies to all organisations, internal or external. The individual tender will indicate whether a PC Licence is required to deliver the work or service and a Network Rail sponsor will be identified for suppliers who are invited to tender but are not holders of the licence at the time that the tender event is issued.
