Horizon is a UK energy company developing a new generation of nuclear power stations. A wholly owned subsidiary of Hitachi Ltd., we plan to provide at least 5,800MW of new power station capacity to the UK, enough to power around 11\u00a0million homes.<\/p>\n

Our projects will create up to 850 permanent jobs during operation at each of our sites on Anglesey<\/a> and Oldbury<\/a>, with a construction workforce of around 4,000 workers for the majority of the time. Up to 9,000 workers will be needed at the peak of construction.<\/p>\n

This investment will boost the country\u2019s low carbon power supplies and help develop local skills and new prospects for British suppliers<\/a>.<\/p>\n
