{"id":147,"date":"2018-11-30T13:59:29","date_gmt":"2018-11-30T13:59:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.competefor.com\/ewr\/?page_id=147"},"modified":"2020-08-27T12:11:32","modified_gmt":"2020-08-27T12:11:32","slug":"scope-of-works","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.competefor.com\/ewr\/scope-of-works\/","title":{"rendered":"Scope of Works"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\">Our plans include:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"ul1\">\n<li class=\"li1\">Improving stations and viaducts at Bletchley, Ridgemont, Winslow and Woburn Sands<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Making railway crossings safer by replacing structures and diverting or closing highway, foot and field crossings<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Upgrading track, including doubling track and upgrading infrastructure between Bicester and Bletchley<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Installing new and upgraded signalling and associated cabling<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Establishing Environmental Compensation Sites (ECS) to offset the ecological impacts of constructing the project<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Clearing overgrown vegetation, including removing overgrown vegetation predominantly along the railway corridor<\/li>\n<li class=\"li1\">Constructing and restoring structures, including a new station at Winslow, new high-level platforms at Bletchley station, refurbishments, reconstruction and general repairs to existing infrastructure<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"p1\">EWR Alliance has split the programme into three projects: 2A, 2B, &amp; 2C.
