      Repair and maintenance services of building installations. Building alteration work. Plumbing and sanitary works. Wandsworth Borough Council is seeking expressions of interest from suitably experienced and competent suppliers for the provision of Repair and Maintenance of existing Adaptations and the Installation of new Minor Disability Adaptation Works.The proposed new Repair and Maintenance of existing Adaptations and the Installation of new Minor Disability Adaptation Works contract will be for individual adaptation repair and maintenance items where the value of the works is predominately less than £1,000. Based on current data, each repair job costs an average of approximately £205 and each new minor adaptation job costs an average of approximately £192. The annual estimated contract value is £248,963. The majority of the works orders will be within Wandsworth Council owned properties.The works on this contract will be ordered by the Home Improvement Agency following a works request from the tenant, an Occupational Therapist (OT), client carer or other appropriate source. For the majority of new minor adaptations the works will be designed following an OT client needs assessment.
