Workshop 2 – Passing the PQQ Stage – Midlands & Wales – £115.00

Overview

Probably the easiest way to describe Pre-Qualification Questionnaires (PQQs) is to liken them to job interviews, where the public sector buyer is your prospective employer. Just as with any job interview, you need to be prepared and consider how best to present yourself and what questions you should ask of your prospective employer.

This workshop is designed to provide you with a practical view of PQQs and the selection stage, where they fit within the overall procurement process and how they are related to the other elements within it.

The session will cover a variety of topics ranging from understanding why buyers ask certain questions and how best to respond to them through to how the PQQ will be scored, evaluated and what further information might be provided following your success or failure with the PQQ.

The Passing the PQQ Stage workshop is designed to help anyone involved in submitting PQQs. It will not only explore what suppliers need to do to pass the selection stage but it will also discuss what public sector buyers should be doing and point out mistakes that can be made by contracting authorities and how to deal with them when they occur.
