Linlithgow housing estate under construction
- December 3, 2019

The residential property development company CALA Homes has commenced the construction of 40 five-bedroom detached homes at the Queenswood Development in the idyllic West Lothian town of Linlithgow, Scotland.

Construction recently began on the Linlithgow housing estate and is expected to continue up until the summer of 2020, at which point the first show homes will be available for viewing, with the homes being taken from CALA’s award-winning Light and Space range and being added to the private sale market thereafter.

The housing estate will be situated in a green site with tree-lined edges and pathways to nearby amenities, with easy access to the surrounding countryside including natural sites such as Linlithgow Loch and Union Canal.

In terms of transport, however, the development will be situated near the M8 for easy commuter access and will have access to train services that will travel to both Edinburgh and Glasgow.

The Sales and Marketing Director of CALA Homes East, Philip Hogg stated: “There is a real demand for quality family homes in Linlithgow. It is considered one of West Lothian’s most desirable places to live and we are delighted to be delivering homes here.

“The properties on offer are perfect for families and professionals looking for a modern home in a beautiful location with plenty of local amenities and easy commuter access to Stirling, Edinburgh and Glasgow.

“It is exciting to be returning to Linlithgow again – we have had great successes with previous developments in the area and are looking forward to getting started at Queenswood.

“There is a real sense of community in the area and so much for families to do and get involved in throughout the year.”

CALA Homes had recently undertaken another residential development in Linlithgow in the form of The Oaks in 2017, comprising of just five homes.
