TEAM2100 is delivering the first 10 years of asset management in the tidal flood defences as recommended by the 100-year Thames Estuary 2100 (TE2100) plan. This sets out how to manage increasing tidal flood risk, due to rising sea levels and deteriorating assets, from now until the end of the century and beyond. Valued at \u00a3308million, TEAM2100 is one of the Government\u2019s top 40 infrastructure projects and delivering greater value for public money is at its heart, through innovation, greater collaboration with the supply chain and optimised asset and programme management.<\/p>\n
Made up of a collaborative medley of staff from the Environment Agency, CH2M, and Balfour Beatty, the Integrated Delivery Team (IDT) is undertaking the first phase of the plans between 2015 and 2025. The team is one of the most culturally diverse teams in London, with staff from various countries across the globe.TEAM2100 aims to reduce the risk of tidal flooding for some 1.3million people and \u00a3275 billion worth of property value in London and the Thames Estuary.
